The building is an attractive traditional stone Welsh cottage about 150 years old, and has some low doorways (5ft 7ins). It is cosy and warm with central heating by storage heaters with several additional electric heaters for instant extra heat if necessary.
At the front of the cottage is a small walled front garden. Outside the back door is a mountain stream. A footbridge leads to the charming informal back garden with views of Dolwyddelan Castle, Snowdon and Moel Siabod. It has a profusion of flowers throughout the Spring and Summer and a sheltered slate patio with garden chairs for picnics and sunbathing (weather permitting!). There is an outside WC.
